I had always drove by but could never stop cause my husbands not really into this type of food. Picked up my parents from the train station and decided to stop in. While this place seems like a little hole in the wall (which are my personal favorites) the food was just phenomenal. We were the only ones eating in, it was on a Thursday during the afternoon. It was a tad bit stuffy for me being pregnant, I asked the very polite gentlemen working if we were to sit under the fans if he would please turn them on; he ended up turning on the ac! He was so pleasant and patient it made the experience so much better. We will be back before my parents go back home! The portions were huge! We ordered two gyro lunch specials and a chicken, lamb kabob and gyro plate that came with basmati rice and side salad. We shared between the three of us and still had left overs for dinner.

I ordered the gyro. My fries were over cooked to the point that they were dark brown. Since I got it to go, I did not have the patience to return my food. Also, it was missing tzatziki sauce. My food was so disappointing, but my friend food was decent despite the chicken kebab being 4/4 pieces. I wouldn't recommend the chicken kebab plate for a hungry man.
As far the decor, there was much to be desired. It looks worn and outdated. It was also very humid and hot in there. It was so hot in the restaurant that we waited outside. It just looked very rundown which wouldn't usually deter me because "hole in the walls" usually have delicious food!
Overall, I would not recommend this place. I was so disappointed especially after reading the decent reviews. Lastly, there was a woman and child in the kitchen area. The toddler walked out of the kitchen and wandered around. Prior to that, I heard the woman clapping and singing to the child. With that being said I don't know what else they have going on back there in the kitchen. -

First time trying Mr. Kabab. I live right down the street from the place and have never stopped until today. The Pita is HUGE! was not expecting it. I also ordered the Lamb Shawarma, which is tasty! Never had it before but I am thoroughly enjoying it as I type this review.
I also ordered hummus to go along with my pita, it's okay, I'm not a fan of hummus. -

I'm always looking for new flavor options and Mr. Kabob answers that well! The place is clean and large, room for a lunch rush for sure. The service was friendly and our orders were taken quickly, be prepared to wait a little bit while they freshly make your food. We ordered the Baba Ghanoush which came with fresh baked bread- the flavor was amazing but the texture was not my favorite- I prefer a smoother blend but am not subtracting stars for a preference. I also ordered the lamb shawarma sandwich - this thing is HUGE! Loaded for flavor and easily enough to take leftovers home if you wanted.
Don't forget to piece of Baklava at the register, for only $1/ea this is the hidden gem of the whole place, and the most perfect, crispy, amazing bite I've had in this area. Heck, pick up a dozen and take them to friends, they'll appreciate you forever!
I love to see these local spots doing amazing food, this is a great spot to try Yelpers! -

Don't sleep on this gem in Hampton! I've been coming to Mr. Kabab for about 3 years and have loved it. The gyros they serve have large portions of lamb (you can also order beef or chicken) and the pita bread is delicious.
Their gyro pizza is something out of this world! I have not tried their other pizzas, but if you come here give this a try first. You will not be disappointed!
I've not tried everything on their menu, but if you up to trying something new, get the manakeesh zater! It's a lovely, HUGE, traditional Lebanese spiced pita bread! You'll be surprised at how fast you consume this spicy, buttery goodness!
I've never been to this establishment during lunch time, but when I go in the evening it seems that a lot of their business comes from take out. There's some hookahs in the restaurant if you're into that. Mr. Kabob also has some canned beans and a few other items that are for sale in the lobby. Come try this restaurant out!
